Of course, migrants also come to Canada in the opposite direction – leaving the United States for greener (albeit colder) pastures in the True North. Sometimes, they do this because they know they will be deported if they stay in the United States. Canada has already started deporting these people back to the United States, and there are reports of migrants being flown from the northern border to Texas for processing.

Criticisms of the New Deal 

Some say that this new system is dangerous and harmful for migrants. Some say that if this law had been in place a few years ago, they would have never made it to Canada in the first place.
